    Deputy Matron/Manager

    Location: Aldersmead
    Salary: £33,000 - £35,000 pa depending on experience
    Position Type: Permanent, full-time
    Working Hours: 40 hours per week including some weekends and bank holidays

Dependency levels in the home are mixed, with residents requiring residential and general nursing care, some end of life care, and some dementia but no challenging behaviour.     You will be required to champion the development of the dementia care provision. Duties include assisting the nurse in charge with the management of the shift, supervising the junior carers and senior care staff to ensure care is delivered to a high standard, assist the nurse with dressings, PEG feeding and changing of catheter bags, auditing residents’ weight and blood pressures and report any changes to the nurse in charge.
